Product Introduction
The Actuator 24V can be wired to the vehicle harness directly, with no 24-to-12 V converter to package inside the duct area. The unit is fixed to the duct housing by its front ears, and the rod end is pinned to a short crank arm on the flap shaft: extending the rod rotates the crank one way and retracting it turns the crank back, so the flap moves to a new opening position and stays there. The thrust and travel required are set by the flap area, the static pressure difference across it, the seal friction at breakaway and the length of that crank arm - not by the size of the duct.

FAQ
Can this actuator be connected directly to a 24V truck electrical system?
Yes. 24V DC is the standard configuration and matches the electrical system on heavy-duty trucks, buses and construction machinery; 12V DC is available on the same body. Tell us the supply window your harness delivers - a vehicle bus rises while the alternator charges - so the build is confirmed against it.
Does the flap keep its position when the ignition is switched off?
Yes. Static self-locking is more than twice the rated thrust, so the lead screw holds the last commanded angle with no current. If the duct needs the flap to fail to a specific position instead, that must come from the flap mechanism.
Is 2 kg (20 N) of thrust enough for my air flap?
Multiply the holding torque at the flap shaft by the crank-arm length, then add the breakaway peak; if that is above 20 N, the same platform is built at 8 kg and 20 kg. Send the flap drawing and we will size it.
