PWM ESC Control Method

Version 1 (Professional Technical Document Version)

PWM Control Specifications

This linear actuator adopts PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) for control. The specific parameters and operation requirements are as follows:

Basic Control ParametersSet the PWM signal frequency to 50Hz (corresponding to a period of 20,000 microseconds). Different duty cycles correspond to different working states of the actuator, with the specific correspondence as shown below:

Duty Cycle Actuator State Corresponding High-Level Duration
5% Extension 1000 microseconds
7.5% Standby 1500 microseconds
10% Retraction 2000 microseconds

Core Operation ProcessBefore starting control, it is necessary to first output a standby PWM signal with a duration of 50 milliseconds and a duty cycle of 7.5%. After the standby initialization is completed, switch to the control signal with a duty cycle of 5% or 10% to realize the switching of the actuator's extension/retraction direction. If the actuator does not respond after the control signal is sent, the corresponding control signal must be sent repeatedly until the actuator works normally.

Special PrecautionsDue to differences between different actuator models or hardware individuals, the extension/retraction direction of some actuators may be opposite to the state corresponding to the above-mentioned duty cycles. It is necessary to confirm the adaptation relationship through testing before actual application.

Version 2 (Concise Operation Guide Version)

Linear Actuator PWM Control Instructions

Frequency Setting: Fixed at 50Hz (period: 20,000us)

State Correspondence:

5% duty cycle (1000us high-level) - Actuator extension

7.5% duty cycle (1500us high-level) - Actuator standby

10% duty cycle (2000us high-level) - Actuator retraction

Operation Key Points: First send a 50ms standby signal with 7.5% duty cycle, then switch to 5%/10% duty cycle to control the direction; if the actuator has no action, send the corresponding signal repeatedly.

Testing Note: The extension/retraction direction of some actuators may be opposite to the above correspondence, so calibration through actual testing is required.

Version 3 (Ultra-Concise Label Version)

PWM Control Parameters & Operation

Frequency: 50Hz (20,000us)

Duty Cycle Correspondence: 5% (1000us) - Extension; 7.5% (1500us) - Standby; 10% (2000us) - Retraction

Operation: First output a 50ms 7.5% standby signal, then switch the control signal; if no action occurs, send repeatedly.

Note: The actuator direction may be opposite to the above, so actual testing is required.
