Features of Stainless Steel Linear Actuator

Stainless steel linear actuators are mechanical devices that convert rotary motion into linear motion using stainless steel. Due to their excellent corrosion resistance and durability, they are widely used in various fields. Here is a detailed introduction:

Features
Corrosion Resistance: Made of stainless steel, typically 304 or 316, these actuators are highly resistant to water, chemicals, and other corrosive substances, maintaining stable performance even in harsh environments. Our actuator rods are made of 304 stainless steel and copper alloy, a fully metal construction.

Hygiene:Some stainless steel linear actuators use food-grade lubricants, resulting in a smooth surface that is easy to clean, meeting the hygiene requirements of the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

High Protection Rating: Many stainless steel linear actuators have a high protection rating, such as IP65, preventing dust ingress and water splashes.

Durability: The stainless steel construction gives the linear actuator high strength and wear resistance, ensuring long-term stable operation and a longer service life than plastic actuators.

Type Differences:
Electric Linear Actuator: Driven by a motor, it converts the motor's rotary motion into linear motion through a screw, gear, or other transmission mechanism. For example, Kabasi's 1610 electric actuator is made of 304 stainless steel, has an IP65 protection rating, and a maximum thrust of 300N.

Pneumatic linear actuators: Powered by compressed air, they drive a piston within a cylinder to perform linear motion. Stainless steel pneumatic linear actuators are suitable for applications requiring fast response and simple control.

Hydraulic linear actuators: Use hydraulic oil as the transmission medium. Hydraulic oil is delivered to the cylinder by pressure from a hydraulic pump, pushing the piston to perform linear motion. Hydraulic linear actuators can provide greater thrust.

Applications:
Food and beverage industry: Used for adjustment and control of equipment such as filling machines, packaging machines, and cheese production lines, ensuring hygienic and reliable linear motion.

Pharmaceutical industry: Used in the production processes of pharmaceutical equipment to meet the industry's requirements for high hygiene and corrosion resistance.

Semiconductor manufacturing industry: Semiconductor manufacturing processes require a clean and corrosion-free environment. Stainless steel linear actuators can be used for precise positioning and motion control in equipment such as wafer handling and chip packaging.

Marine Industry: Due to the harsh marine environment and high salinity, stainless steel linear actuators are used in marine equipment, such as deck machinery and valve controls, to resist seawater corrosion.

Glass Industry: In the production, processing, and coating processes of glass, stainless steel linear actuators can be used for high-temperature regulation tasks.
